Bhimtal is best known for lake views and quiet stays. A well-paced visit usually takes 1-2 days, giving travellers time to boat on bhimtal lake, visit the island aquarium, try stargazing or birdwatching.
The generally preferred travel period is march to june and september to november. The trip can also be combined with Sattal, Naukuchiatal, Nainital, depending on weather, road conditions and the number of days available.
