Use Chaukori as a key stop in a custom Uttarakhand itinerary. The destination works especially well for travellers interested in himalayan panoramas, while nearby places can be combined according to road conditions, weather and available time.
Chaukori is best known for himalayan panoramas. A well-paced visit usually takes 2-3 days, giving travellers time to watch panchachuli sunrise and sunset, walk around tea gardens, visit nearby temples and village trails.
The generally preferred travel period is march to june and september to november. The trip can also be combined with Patal Bhuvaneshwar, Berinag, Munsiyari, depending on weather, road conditions and the number of days available.
